William Lawlor was my Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather. William
was born in Halifax, Halifax Co., N.S. It is not known for certain who William's parents were at this time, however,
they came to Nova Scotia in the very early days of settlement, probably from Boston. William Lawlor's
son, Daniel W. Lawlor was granted land in 1818 in the Preston area - part of the Maroon Land Grants. The Lawlor Family
